Message in a bottle
Purchase-based PepsiCo is taking steps to reduce its carbon footprint.
The company has developed a petroleum-based polyethylene terephthalate (pet) bottle that will enter pilot production in 2012.
The fully recyclable bottle is comprised of bio-based raw materials like switch grass, pine bark and corn husks.
