Panel to discuss retail opportunities

The International Council of Shopping Centers Alliance Program will host a breakfast event Friday for retailers at 11 West Prospect Ave. in Mount Vernon.

The event will begin at 7:45 a.m. in the Roosevelt Square Professional Building and by 8:45 a.m. moves to City Hall at 1 Roosevelt Square for a panel discussion about retail development opportunities throughout Westchester.

The Alliance Program aims to provide a venue to discuss  retail industry-related topics including the importance of private-public partnerships to stimulate business activity in the county’s shopping districts.

The guest speakers include Jonathan H. Gordon, president at Admiral Real Estate Services Corp. based in Bronxville, Adam W. Ifshin, ICSC trustee and president and CEO at DLC Management Corp. in Tarrytown, and Scott Auster, managing director at Grid Properties Inc. in Manhattan.

The Alliance Program panelists will be available after the discussion to network and share ideas with attendees from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
