LobsterCraft expands with Stratford location

The LobsterCraft restaurant chain has expanded its Fairfield County presence by leasing 2377 Main St. in Stratford.

LobsterCraft was founded in 2012 as a food truck business by Mike Harden, a former Coast Guard captain and commercial lobster fisherman in Norwalk. Harden’s food truck business morphed into a Darien brick-and-mortar location in 2014, but that closed after two years. In 2018, he opened another location in Fairfield. The company expanded across Connecticut to Greenwich and West Hartford, and it opened locations in Block Island, Rhode Island, and Sarasota, Florida.

Terms and conditions of the deal were not disclosed. Scott Zakos of Westport-based Vidal/Wettenstein acted as dual agent in the transaction.
