Lebanese restaurant chain NAYA to open first Connecticut location in Darien

Fairfield County”™s newest restaurant, the Lebanese-focused chain NAYA Middle Eastern Counter & Grill, is opening later this week in the Darien Commons at 146 Heights Road in Darien.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at noon on June 23, with Chef Charbel Hayek, NAYA owner Hady Kfoury and members of the Darien Chamber of Commerce and Darien Arts Center in attendance. On June 23 and June 24, customers will be able to try their luck spinning the wheel for prizes, including items from NAYA”™s exclusive retail partner Za”™atar Road, which specializes in Lebanese products.

This is the first Connecticut location for NAYA, which has 13 eateries in Manhattan along with locations in Brooklyn, Garden City, Paramus and Philadelphia. In addition to its in-store and takeout offerings, NAYA will also provide catering for private parties, celebrations and business lunches. The NAYA App can also be downloaded for exclusive rewards.
