White Plains bank building goes from empty to fully leased

Brokers at Colliers International Group Inc. said they have fully leased the 45,000-square-foot Westchester Bank Building at 12 Water St. in White Plains with the signings of several new long-term leases and renewals totaling more than 14,000 square feet of office space.

The Stamford office of Colliers International said Ian Ceppos, the firm”™s senior managing director, and Al Gutierrez, executive managing director, took the four-story building from completely vacant to 100 percent leased in less than three years as exclusive leasing agents for the owner, Autumn Properties & Development LLC in Mount Vernon.

Among new lease deals, M2O Private Fund Advisors, which provides counsel on capital raising and investor relations, signed a renewal and expansion lease for 3,116 square feet of space. J Star Produce and Capitol Logistics leased a total of 6,000 square feet, while Datalan Corp., a Microsoft Gold Certified partner that focuses on the SharePoint software platform and associated technologies, renewed its lease for 3,988 square feet of space. The Law Offices of Craig Relles leased 1,050 square feet of space, brokers said.

Autumn Properties extensively renovated the Class B office building after acquiring it from GHP Office Realty LLC for $3.9 million in 2011. The property was renamed after The Westchester Bank signed a 15-year lease and relocated its headquarters from Yonkers to an 11,250-square-foot ground floor space there at the start of 2015.

The building previously had Consolidated Edison Inc. as it sole occupant.
