Mount Vernon industrial building sold

The new owner of an 80,000-square-foot industrial building in Mount Vernon plans to convert the two- and three-story structure at 750 S. Fulton Ave. into a mini storage facility, according to brokers in the recent $3.85 million deal.

The buyer, 750 South Fulton Storage L.L.C., is based in State College, Pa. The company took out a $1 million mortgage with the property”™s seller in Mount Vernon, Wampum L.L.C.

Andrew Grossman, vice president at NAI Friedland Realty Inc. in Yonkers, represented both parties in the deal.

The building has been used for retail, office and warehouse space. Grossman said the new owner wants to renovate it as a storage facility to accommodate the neighborhood”™s growing need for space.
