C&W named retail leasing agent
Partners in Heritage White Plains, a 48,000-square-foot, open-air boutique retail and restaurant development, have tapped Cushman & Wakefield Inc. as the project”™s exclusive retail agent.
A Cushman & Wakefield spokeswoman said Jessica Curtis and Skip Lane, from the company”™s Stamford office, will collaborate with Alan Schmerzler and Brad Mendelson, from the firm”™s New York world headquarters, in handling leasing at the 120 Bloomingdale Road development that is slated for completion in 2015.
Caspi Development L.L.C. in Purchase and Faros Properties L.L.C. in Manhattan last year partnered in the $10.5 million purchase of the former Nestle Co. headquarters campus from a special servicer of commercial loans. The retail development will adjoin a 145,000-square-foot office building whose anchor tenant is the state Department of Labor.
“We are going to create a beautiful, upscale and diverse shopping experience, inspired by the likes of Americana Manhasset and The Shoppes at Bal Harbour, with an inviting boulevard and upscale dining options that will offer a sophisticated streetscape for shoppers to enjoy as they stroll from boutique to boutique,” Schmerzler said in the announcement.
