Central National-Gottesman expands HQ at Centre at Purchase
In one of the largest office lease deals this year in Westchester County, Central National-Gottesman Inc., an international pulp, paper and wood products sales and distribution company, has inked a new lease at The Centre at Purchase that will expand its headquarters space by 50 percent.
The company has leased 62,888 square feet of office space, including portions of the first and second floors and the entire third floor at 3 Manhattanville Road, a 104,875-square-foot, Class A building, according to Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, the Centre”™s leasing agent.
The brokerage said the lease brings the four-building, 685,000-square-foot Centre at Purchase campus to approximately 95 percent occupancy.
The Centre at Purchase is owned by a joint venture of George Comfort & Sons Inc. and O”™Connor Capital Partners. Stephen Banker and Hilarie Siles, executive managing directors at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, represented the owners with Dana Pike, senior vice president at George Comfort. David Block, senior vice president at CBRE Group Inc., represented Central National-Gottesman.
“The additional space enables CNG to accommodate our growth while continuing to provide a great work environment for our employees,” said Steven Eigen, the company’s chief financial and administrative officer, in the lease announcement. “We are excited about the opportunity to expand within The Centre, whose amenities and staff are first-rate and where our experience has been fantastic.”
