$2.32M home sale breaks record for White Plains housing market

The Federal, a brick Colonial in White Plains, has been sold for $2.32 million – a transaction that is the highest sale price for a single-family residence for a market where the median sale price is $446,000.

Located on a 0.67-acre property at 139 Hillair Circle, the 6.090-square-foot residence includes four bedrooms, four full baths and one partial bath. The chef’s kitchen features Bosch/Thermador appliances, Shaker cabinetry, quartz counters and island, a breakfast area, and a family space with a gas fireplace. A den/billiards room freatures coffered ceiling and a butler’s pantry with wet bar.

The property last changed hands in September 2013 for $1.15 million. Gino Bello of Houlihan Lawrence was the listing agent on the property; the names of the buyer and seller were not publicly disclosed.
