White Plains attorney heads state Women’s Bar Association

The Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York appointed White Plains attorney Donna E. Frosco its new president. Frosco, a Chappaqua resident, previously served as treasurer and vice president of the association. She is a principal member of Keane & Beane, P.C. and practices in the areas of intellectual property, environmental and construction laws.

Magistrate Judge Lisa Margaret Smith, of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, installed Frosco into office at the association’s annual convention on June 8.

The association, which is one of three statewide bar associations in New York, has more than 3,800 members in 18 chapters throughout the state. The purpose of the association is to recognize women in their legal profession and promote equality in the justice system related to women, children and families.
