Business author and CEO Mark Stevens this week will launch a summer series of “recession-fighter” clinics in Westchester County.
Stevens, author of 24 business-related books and head of MSCO, a marketing and management company in Rye Brook, will offer the free weekly clinics at his company”™s office at 800 Westchester Ave. and on the Web. The sessions, scheduled to begin Wednesday and end Aug. 27, will be offered in one-on-one and group formats. All sessions start at 10 a.m. except for the July 30 clinic, which starts at 11 a.m.
Stevens said businesses should resist the urge to adopt a bunker mentality in the current recession and instead take aggressive steps to grow market share. The clinics will offer sales and marketing strategies to aid companies facing the uncertainties of a weak economy.
Executives, managers and entrepreneurs will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Companies outside the New York area can inquire about joining the discussion by phone or set an appointment for a future telephone session.
To register, call Lee DeEsso at 914-251-1500.
Stevens”™ most recently published book is “God Is a Salesman: Learn from the Master.” His best-sellers include “Your Marketing Sucks” and “Sudden Death: The Rise and Fall of E.F. Hutton.”
