SKIN CARE STUDIO DONATES TO HOSPITAL

Farida Skin Care Studio in White Plains  donated 10% of its revenues during October, the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, to White Plains Hospital. 

When presenting the $4,207 check, Farida, the owner of the business, said: “We are committed to being a small business with a big heart and we are proud to make this annual contribution to support the important work being done by the White Plains Hospital Center for Cancer Care.” 

Dawn French, senior vice president, community relations and marketing at the hospital, expressed its gratitude as did White Plains Mayor Thomas Roach.

Brittany Brandwein, executive director of the White Plains BID, said “In 2020, during the pandemic, we celebrated the opening of Farida Studio in the White Plains Business District. Facing its own challenges as an emerging small business, Farida. still donated 10% of proceeds during breast cancer awareness month to White Plains Hospital”¦.”
