Karen Kolodny recently joined the JCC of Mid-Westchester as executive director. Kolodny brings to the JCC substantial experience in the nonprofit sector, having worked at the 92nd Street Y since 2001, both as director of the Milstein/Rosenthal Center for Media & Technology and as director of legal affairs.
Prior to joining 92Y, Kolodny was instrumental in launching sothebys.com, Sotheby”™s online auction operation. As executive director, she will oversee the continued revitalization of the JCC, with a renewed emphasis on fundraising, expanding programming and invigorating community partnerships.
Kolodny has certificates in arts administration and business technology, both from New York University, a bachelor”™s degree in civil law and a bachelor”™s of common law degree from McGill University, and a Master of Law degree from Cambridge University.

Mary Lachman, of Bethany, Conn., has joined WESTMED Medical Group, a Purchase-based multispecialty group medical practice, as an anatomic pathologist.
She has a medical degree from the University of Toledo and completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Hartford Hospital, as well as a fellowship in surgical pathology and cytopathology at Hartford Hospital.

Sara Manes recently joined Houlihan Lawrence, the largest independently owned and operated residential real estate brokerage firm in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties, as a salesperson in its Katonah office.
Previously, Manes worked as a research associate with two consumer market research firms and also as a Pilates instructor in the Katonah area. She has a degree in international business from George Washington University.
