Janti Soeripto named CEO at Save the Children U.S.

Save the Children U.S. has named Janti Soeripto as its new CEO. She will take her new position on Jan. 1 and succeed Carolyn Miles, who served the past eight years as the Fairfield-based nonprofit”™s chief executive.

Soeripto, has served as president and chief operating officer of the organization since June, and she will retain the president’s job while becoming a member of the board of directors. She was formerly the deputy chief executive officer and COO of Save the Children International in London. Earlier in her career, she was a managing director at Kimberly Clark in Indonesia.
