Aviation Boatswain”™s Mate Airman Julian Fernando, who hails from Yonkers, New York, is directing an F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the “Black Aces” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 41, on the flight deck of USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). The ship is underway conducting routine operations in U.S. 3rd Fleet.
