The Stewie the Duck Swim School in Norwalk, Connecticut, has received a $50,000 donation from M&T Bank for the school’s new aquatics center.  M&T is the official sponsor of the pool at the facility, which opened in June.

Kim and Stew Leonard, Jr., owner of the famed farm fresh food markets, launched the Stewie the Duck Swim School in June 2023. The 6,400-square-foot state-of-the-art aquatics facility provides more than 10,000 30-minute lessons every year to children aged 6 months and up.  All profits from the Stewie the Duck Swim School are donated to the Stew Leonard III Water Safety Foundation to help fund swimming lessons for children in need as well as lifeguard training at its partner organizations throughout the country.
