2013 Legislative Breakfast on Children and Youth

“The Next Generation: 2013 Legislative Breakfast on Children and Youth” was held Feb. 22 at The Greenburgh Library, hosted by the Westchester Children”™s Association and the Child Care Council of Westchester.

Local and regional New York state policy makers and government leaders showed up in force to take questions from Westchester youth and other members of the community. Questions from both youth and community members focused on school-based issues, including school violence and zero tolerance, bullying and early childhood education, including pre-K and mandatory kindergarten.
