Couple recognized by home health care agency

Geoffrey Thompson and Elizabeth Bracken-Thompson, partners of Thompson & Bender, were recently recognized for their community leadership by Dominican Sisters Family Health Service.

The Thompsons of Croton-on-Hudson received the 2012 Mother Mary Walsh award from the home health care agency at a  luncheon honoring the Dominican Sisters’ 20th anniversary.

The couple heads Thompson & Bender, a public relations and marketing agency in Briarcliff Manor. Among their civic, community, and business-related activities, Geoffrey has served as chairman of the board for Teatown Lake Reservation, the largest privately owned environmental education center in Westchester County. Elizabeth is currently president of the Friends of Westchester County Parks.
