Gotbaum was previously a managing member of New Spirit Capital LLC, a business strategy and planning consultancy focused on the consumer goods and retail sectors. Earlier in his career, he was managing director for investor relations and business development at The Rohatyn Group, an emerging markets asset management firm, and was founder and inaugural board chairman of New York Cares, a volunteer organization serving more than 500,000 New Yorkers in need.

“I am thrilled to join BNT and work with its great staff, its active and excellent board, and its broad and terrific base of community stakeholders,” Gotbaum said. “There are tremendous opportunities to build on BNT”™s manifold successes to grow the organization, and to creatively spur even stronger neighborhood and community development in Bridgeport and beyond. I”™m also excited to return to the non-profit world, and especially in affordable housing which is an absolute precursor to educational achievement, community health, strong families, and good job opportunities.”
