New CEO at The Stamford Partnership
The Stamford Partnership has announced the appointment of Kevin Peraino as its new CEO. He replaces Jon Winkel, who left the nonprofit in February to take the leadership role at The Village Community Foundation.
Peraino was previously the executive director at the Jay Heritage Center in Rye. Earlier in his career, he was a journalist with Newsweek, and he authored several history books including “A Force So Swift: Mao, Truman, and the Birth of Modern China, 1949” and “Lincoln in the World: The Making of a Statesman and the Dawn of American Power.”
Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons welcomed the appointment, issuing a statement that said, “Kevin”™s experience and skills make him an excellent leader for the next chapter of Stamford Partnership”™s future.”
