NEW BOARD OF TRUSTEES OFFICERS AT COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Rockland Community College (RCC)  appointed new officers for its Board of Trustees, during the board’s annual meeting on Sept. 23. The new officers, all of whom have previously served as trustees, assumed their leadership roles for a two-year term, as per the Board’s bylaws.

The new officers are: Chair L’Tanya M. Watkins, Vice Chair Dr. Dana G. Stilley, Secretary Ileana Eckert (reelected) and Elana L. Yeger, community outreach liaison.

The board and the entire RCC community extended their sincere gratitude to Martin Wortendyke, who recently completed his term as chair of the Board of Trustees.

Dr. Beth Coyle, RCC officer in charge, expressed her appreciation for Wortendyke’s years of commitment, stating, “…His guidance and service have made a positive lasting impact.”
