LOCAL HOSPITAL AMONG TOP 1% OF HOSPITALS IN U.S.FOR OVERALL CLINICAL EXCELLENCE

Norwalk Hospital has earned a spot among America’s 50 Best Hospitals for 2025, according to new research from Healthgrades, a resource consumers use to seek top-quality health care.

This recognition places Norwalk Hospital in the top 1% of hospitals nationwide for overall clinical performance and underscores its unwavering dedication to delivering exceptional patient care. Notably, this is Norwalk Hospital’s second straight year with this recognition.

To identify the best hospitals for 2025, Healthgrades analyzed risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates across more than 30 conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide.

Norwalk Hospital achieved top rankings in Connecticut for critical care, gastrointestinal care, surgery and medical treatment, pulmonary care and cardiology

Norwalk Hospital also received excellence awards and five-star ratings from Healthgrades in 2025 for cardiac, neuroscience, stroke, pulmonary, pneumonia, gastrointestinal, GI bleed, bowel obstruction, gastrointestinal, orthopedics, critical care and sepsis.
