FIRM PROMOTES ATTORNEY TO PARTNER
White Plains-based insurance defense law firm Fullerton Beck LLP has promoted Joseph Sauer from special litigation counsel to partner. This is Sauer’s second promotion in just four years.
“Joe has proven to be an invaluable asset to Fullerton Beck, consistently demonstrating not only his exceptional legal skills but also his unwavering commitment to our clients, the firm and his colleagues,” said Eileen Fullerton, the managing partner. “His keen attention to detail, strategic approach and dedication to achieving the best possible outcomes make him an integral part of our team.”
Now in his sixth year with Fullerton Beck, Sauer has been instrumental in helping grow the firm’s elevator liability practice, defending building owners and elevator companies in personal injury cases. He also focuses on general liability matters in various areas, including New York labor law, premises liability, cases brought under the Child Victims’ Act and police misconduct cases.
Before joining Fullerton Beck, Sauer served as an assistant corporation counsel for the city of New York in the Bronx Tort Division for five years, two of which were focused on full-time trial work. Sauer achieved favorable outcomes for the city, including several defense verdicts, earning Division Chief Awards in 2014 and 2017 for his exceptional work. He earned his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University.
