CREDIT UNION’S NEW MARKETING LEADERSHIP
Hudson Valley Credit Union (HVCU) has announced a new hire and promotion on its marketing leadership team. Bianca West has been hired as vice president, creative director, and Kara Brinkerhoff has been promoted to vice president, director of marketing insights.
As creative director, West will focus on collaboration with key stakeholders and business units across the credit union to develop a consistent brand identity. This includes working with their marketing and communications teams to coordinate strategic internal and external campaigns, market plans and product development. Prior to joining HVCU, West ran her creative agency, 21 Degrees West, delivering enterprise-level design solutions and brand strategies to fast-growing startups seeking to scale their business. She’s applied her skillset as a creative director to a variety of industries such as fintech, cybersecurity, pharma and media.
Brinkerhoff brings nearly 25 years of experience at HVCU to her new role as vice president, director of marketing insights. She has demonstrated a passion for identifying and advocating for the needs of HVCU members since starting as a financial services representative in 2000 and in her most recent role as assistant vice president, manager of member experience. She will continue utilizing analytics to drive marketing performance and optimization, business opportunities and continue fostering a positive member experience.
