Pacific House, a cornerstone of support for individuals experiencing homelessness in Fairfield County has received a $50,000 donation from O&G Industries Inc. This generous contribution commemorates O&G’s 100th anniversary in business, marking a century of success and community engagement.

O&G Industries in Stamford, a leading provider of construction services and products, has chosen to celebrate its landmark anniversary by making a substantial investment in the lives of those served by Pacific House. “This donation is not just a reflection of our success but underscores our commitment to the community and our dedication to supporting vital causes,” said Christina Oneglia Rossi, vice president of business development.

The donation was celebrated at a special presentation at the Pacific House offices, attended by key members from both organizations. Representing O&G Industries were T.J. Oneglia, vice president; Eliza Baron, communications and marketing manager; Brad Oneglia, vice president; and Rossi..

“As part of our 100th anniversary, we wanted to make a considered effort not only to do more in celebration of giving back to the communities that have given us so much — our employees and customers come from these communities — but also to reach organizations that do important and good work. Pacific House was brought up as an option and what better way to give back than to directly support the community associated with where we work? …said, Brad Oneglia.

Reflecting on the significance of this donation, Bill Montana, chair of Pacific House’s Board, said, “On behalf of the board, the staff and most importantly, the people we serve at Pacific House, please accept our sincere gratitude for your extremely generous donation of $50,000. This contribution will make a very significant impact toward our mission to end homelessness in Connecticut.”

The funds provided by O&G Industries will support Pacific House in numerous ways, including the provision of hearty meals for shelter residents, enriching both body and spirit and reinforcing a community of care.

After the check presentation, members of the O&G team also devoted time to serve meals to the shelter’s clients. This act of hands-on engagement underscores O&G’s commitment to making a tangible difference in the community.

Pacific House has been a beacon of hope in Fairfield County for nearly four decades, with a mission focused on providing safe, affordable housing and supportive services to men, women and families in need.
