Credit Union opens first NYS Capital Region branch

Hudson Valley Credit Union (HVCU) in Poughkeepsie recently announced that its first Capital Region branch opened at 851 New Loudon Road in Latham, New York, on Monday, July 22 at 9 a.m. Staff at the new branch are universally trained in all areas of products and services so that they can better assist members. The community residents are encouraged to check their website in the coming weeks for more information about a grand-opening celebration in August.
A supporter of the Capital Region’s businesses and nonprofits that provide much needed services to the community, HVCU is a corporate sponsor of the Capital Region Chamber of Commerce and has already provided grant support to the United Way of the Greater Capital Region, The Arts Center of the Capital Region, Unity House of Troy, as well as 13 other local organizations. The Latham Branch will be open 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday – Wednesday; 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday; and 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday. Courtney Thayer is the Latham Branch manager.
