Tom Burbank

Tom Burbank is the Director of Operations at Atlantic Westchester, an award-winning, family-owned commercial and industrial HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) business located in Bedford Hills, NY. Atlantic Westchester offers a variety of HVAC solutions for businesses, institutions and government facilities across the NY metro area and assists clients with proactive maintenance, remediation and installation services based on their unique facility needs. Since joining Atlantic Westchester in 2012, Tom Burbank has been a valuable extension to the team due to his strong mechanical background, interest and creativity. In 2019, Tom was promoted from a Project Manager/Design Engineer to the Director of Operations at Atlantic Westchester based on his hard work and commitment to the company. His skills have allowed him to develop and design HVAC and energy efficiency solutions for commercial and industrial buildings across the New York Metro area. His dedication and knowledge led him to be involved in a diverse range of HVAC projects over the years. With the help of Tom, Atlantic Westchester obtained certification with the Green Business Partnership (GBP). The GBP program helps businesses and organizations throughout New York State become more sustainable in all areas of operation in order to earn the official GBP Green Business Certification. The program has helped us promote our own sustainability measures; learn new green business practices; increase our credibility as a leading energy efficiency business; and network with like-minded individuals. Atlantic Westchester is pleased to be the only HVAC company in the area to achieve this certification. Tom is committed to reducing Atlantic Westchester”™s environmental footprint and is continuously educating all our employees and clients on green and sustainable actions.Tom”™s successes have been recognized by the HVAC community too. In 2018, He was named an honoree by ACHR The News for the publication”™s annual “40 Under 40” award. The award recognizes exceptional individuals under the age of 40 who are driving the HVAC industry into the next generation.Tom graduated from The University of Vermont in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics.  When not working, Tom enjoys spending his free time being active playing soccer, skiing and hiking. He also has developed a passion for photography.
