Westport’s Gemspring Capital Management acquires Bradford Soap International

Gemspring Capital Management LLC, a Westport-based middle-market private equity firm, has acquired Bradford Soap International Inc., a beauty and personal care products manufacturer. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1876 and headquartered in West Warwick, Rhode Island, Bradford”™s product line includes specialty soap, shampoo bars, conditioner bars, facial cleansing sticks and other specialty items. Bradford offers large-scale CPGs and emerging brands a turnkey solution encompassing the innovation, development and formulation stages of product creation, as well as complex manufacturing and packaging.
