Xerox names Naresh Shanker as new chief technology officer
Xerox Corp. has named Naresh Shanker as senior vice president and chief technology officer, effective May 6. He will also serve as a member of the company”™s executive committee.
Shanker replaces Steve Hoover, who was named CEO of the Palo Alto Research Center, a Xerox company, earlier this year. Hoover replaced Mark Bernstein, who retired.
Prior to joining the Norwalk-headquartered Xerox, Shanker was chief information officer of HP Inc. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Palm Inc. and Agilent Technologies. Shanker also holds a U.S. patent for developing software that enables high-volume, microtransactions from a digital storefront.
