Women’s Bar Association names new president
The Women”™s Bar Association of the State of New York appointed White Plains attorney Donna E. Frosco as its new president. Frosco, who is a Chappaqua resident, previously served as treasurer and vice president of the association.
Magistrate Judge Lisa Margaret Smith, of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, installed Frosco into office at the association”™s annual convention June 8.
The association, which is one of three statewide bar associations in New York, has more than 3,800 members in 18 chapters throughout the state. The purpose of the association is to recognize women in their legal profession and promote equality in the justice system related to women, children and families.
