Boutique law firm expands to Puerto Rico

Jakson Lewis L.L.P., the national employment and labor law firm headquartered in White Plains, has opened an office in Puerto Rico, the firm”™s first expansion outside the continental U.S.

Vincent A. Cino, chairman of Jackson Lewis, in a statement said the office will serve many of the firm”™s major clients with substantial operations in the region. “We are thrilled to be the first U.S. employment boutique to ”˜plant the flag”™ in the commonwealth and are optimistic about our long-term prospects,” he said, adding that the office will complement Jackson Lewis”™ involvement with  L&E Global, an international alliance of boutique employment law firms founded in 2010.

“Our new office in Puerto Rico will open an important gateway to businesses operating in the Caribbean and Latin America,” said Cino.

Founded in 1958, Jackson Lewis exclusively represents management in workplace law. The firm employs 750 attorneys in 52 offices.
