As part of the Hyatt Regency Greenwich’s top-to-bottom renovation, the hotel opened Townsend, its moonlit garden bar, Tuesday, July 23. Located in the property’s signature atrium-style lobby, the bar offers a selection of craft cocktails, such as the Hot Paloma and the Cocoloba, along with bar bites and shareable plates from late afternoon into the night. The Hyatt’s nearly $40 million transformation – which is designed to add a modern touch to the historic campus while incorporating nods to the destination and the site’s past as the former home of Condé Nast’s publishing offices – includes updates to the pool and fitness center, a new atrium event space, the introduction of Glenna’s Cafe and Market beside Townsend and a complete remodel of all 374 guest rooms and suites.
