In the booming beauty biz that has seen sales rise 15% in the first half of last year and younger and younger customers streaming to and from Sephora and Ulta, Macy’s-owned Bluemercury has carved out a niche in the upscale market with 179 stores nationwide, including stores in Rye, Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan and Westport. 

The new Bluemercury beauty store at 48 Pondfield Road in Bronxville is designed to deliver more personalized service, including a reimagined customer experience anchored by the “Center Bar”where clients can enjoy consultations, tutorials and brand discovery with experts. 

There is also a highly curated array of offerings, including: 

  • Four new-to-Bronxville brands D.S. & Durga, Dyson, SkinMedica and Aesop; 
  • A revamped fragrance wardrobe with new arrivals and brands such as BDK Parfums and Jo Malone, outfitted with unique fixtures focused on testers to help clients find the best fragrance for them; 
  • An enhanced selection of dermatological skincare solutions, from brands like EltaMD and Dr. Barbara Sturm; 
  • Body-care brand expansions like Cerulean 6°; 
  • A hair tools playground, featuring items from GHD, T3 and other companies that clients can try first to determine the best styling tools and accessories for their hair.
