A new chef in The (J) House
Tony’s at The J House has appointed Gary Volkov as its new executive chef. Volkov – who most recently served as executive chef of the romantic One if by Land, Two if By Sea in Manhattan, where he garnered acclaim for his mastery of American cuisine – brings more than 25 years of culinary experience to the Italian steakhouse, which also features a sushi menu. A graduate of the former French Culinary Institute in Manhattan, Volkov is well-versed in Russian and French cuisine as well.

Tony’s is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the contemporary boutique hotel, which features the Spa at The J House, a full-service spa with personalized treatments; event spaces; 83 newly renovated guest rooms and suites with mirror TVs, fully automated lights and shades and wireless internet; and a heated outdoor pool.
