New president at Greenwich’s Berkley Luxury Group

Greenwich-headquartered W. R. Berkley Corp. (NYSE: WRB) has hired Shadi Albert as president of Berkley Luxury Group.

Albert brings nearly 20 years of property and casualty insurance experience to his position. He was most recently executive vice president at Selective Insurance, and he also holds Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations.
