Business Council of Westchester elects new directors

The Business Council of Westchester has elected seven new members to its board of directors, which will be headed in 2015 by a new chairman, Anthony Justic, serving a two-year term.

New Business Council directors are Bill Boyce, vice president of sales and business operations for the Westchester Knicks; Mercedes Eggleton-Garcia, vice president of global community relations for MasterCard Inc.;  John Ravitz, the Business Council”™s executive vice president and chief operating officer; Joseph A. Saccomano Jr., office managing shareholder of the White Plains and Albany offices of Jackson Lewis PC; Jon B. Schandler, CEO of White Plains Hospital; James D. Schutzer, vice president at J.D. Moschitto & Associates; and Anthony T. Viceroy, president of Westmed Practice Partners and chief financial officer of Westmed Medical Group.

“We are honored to have such a distinguished group of business leaders joining our board,” said Marsha Gordon, Business Council president and CEO, in the announcement. “They bring many years of experience and expertise in the fields of finance, health care, law, insurance and government. Their insights will prove very valuable as we move forward in 2015 with new and innovative programs for our growing membership.”

The organization”™s new board chairman, Justic, is a certified public accountant and partner with Maier, Markey & Justic LLP, a White Plains-based firm that advises businesses with revenues ranging from $1 million to $75 million. Business Council officials said he has been instrumental in the company”™s growth from three employees to 90 employees since joining the firm in 1987.

The Business Council also announced that Glenn Pacchiana, president and CEO of Thalle Industries and a Business Council director, has been appointed to the group”™s executive committee.
