The Gerry legacy

It”™s difficult to adequately thank Sandra and Alan Gerry for their philanthropic efforts on behalf of the Hudson Valley.  From Bethel Woods for the Performing Arts to Sullivan Renaissance, they have worked to bring arts and culture, community revitalization and a healthy infusion of funds to support local health care organizations and other community outreach programs for nearly 20 years. More than 400 supporters of the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan Counties packed Anthony”™s Pier 9 Thursday evening, April 29, to honor them. “We really can”™t thank them enough for their dedication to making this region a better place to live,” said Karen Van Houten, executive director of the foundation.
