A $3.15 million equestrian estate in Dutchess County recently sold in an auction to Mount Kisco-based commercial real estate firm Diamond Properties.

Auction firm Sheldon Good & Co. announced the sale of the 247-acre estate in Pawling. The Feb. 25 auction attracted about 2,100 inquiries, according to Sheldon Good.

“There have already been substantial improvements made on the estate, and we plan to apply our expertise to create a first-class equestrian facility,” James Diamond, president of Diamond Properties, said in a press release.

The Hudson Valley property features indoor riding arenas, trails, an outdoor event field, a clubhouse, guest cottages, a helicopter pad and a wind turbine that generates power for the property.
