Arch Street Communications moves to White Plains office

Arch Street Communications, a boutique communications firm, has moved its headquarters from Pawling to an office in the ArtsWestchester building at 31 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains.

In a press release, Arch Street, a women-owned business, cited Westchester’s small and women-owned business climate as a reason for the move. Along with the relocation, the company said it had expanded its staff of eight with the hiring of five employees.

“Our new White Plains headquarters is a great central location with a convenient transportation hub to our clients in and around New York state and across the East Coast,” company President Nora Madonick said in the press release.

The company has been in business for more than 20 years. It provides communications services to federal, state and regional agencies and specializes in transportation, energy and environmental issues. Its first client was the Westchester County transportation department. The firm also has satellite offices in Dutchess County, New Jersey and North Carolina.

Arch Street first announced in May it would be moving to a 2,000-square-foot office space in White Plains.

“We needed to position our company in the place most advantageous to attract and retain the best possible talent to grow our business,” Madonick said in May.  “We did our homework, and Westchester was the clear choice.”
