White Plains BID offers staycation itineraries as part of county tourism campaign
Westchester County recently launched a tourism campaign titled “Go Beyond Without Going Far,” through its Tourism and Film Office.
White Plains is its first target location for the initiative within the county and the White Plains Business Improvement District has released staycation itineraries for local residents and visitors alike to plan trips around.
The itineraries span options in three categories: stay, eat and play.
Visitors can fill out a form at https://wpbid.com/staycation to create a personalized itinerary, which will also get them a $100 dining credit at any of the participating restaurants, including the Melting Pot, Don Coqui and Via Garibaldi, among others.
Accommodation options include the Cambria Hotel and the Opus Westchester.
Options for recreation activities include dance lessons, spa sessions, jewelry-making classes, fitness classes, private movie theater screenings and live shows at the White Plains Performing Arts Center.
