LA Fitness opens in New Rochelle

LA Fitness has opened a new health club at the 75 Nardozzi Place property in New Rochelle developed by Simone Development Companies and G&S Investors. It’s in a two-story free-standing structure that was completed in 2021.

LA Fitness is one of the health club brands owned by Fitness International LLC, which has more than 700 locations in the U.S. and Canada. Promotion of the New Rochelle location already has begun on the LA Fitness website, which is offering tours as well as free guest cards for introductory use of the facility.

“The new 75 Nardozzi location marks the third LA Fitness center to be added to our company”™s portfolio in Westchester and the Bronx, joining existing locations at the Post Road Plaza in Port Chester and the Hutchinson Metro Center in the Bronx,” Patricia Simone, president of Simone Management Group said.

It’s expected that the New Rochelle site will have 40 employees ranging from part-time group fitness instructors to full-time club staff. The club features a 25-yard three-lane lap pool, a whirlpool spa, locker rooms with showers and saunas, a group exercise studio and a separate multi-tiered indoor cycling room. There are more than 100 pieces of the latest generation cardio equipment. Group fitness classes are held seven days a week.

A New Rochelle Department of Public Works facility is located on the first floor of 75 Nardozzi Place. Simone Development”™s neighboring 80 Nardozzi Place is home to the new Parsons XTreme Golf center, My Salon Suite and Ashley Furniture Home Store.
