Stamford Health names Jonathan Bailey as chief operating officer
Jonathan Bailey has been named chief operating officer at Stamford Health, where he will oversee the organization”™s leading service lines, including oncology, women”™s and children”™s health, heart and vascular, neurosciences and behavioral health.
Bailey will also work to support the partnership that Stamford Health has with Hospital for Special Surgery.
He joins Stamford Health from Mission Health in Asheville, North Carolina, where he had been the chief program development officer and the president of its direct primary care practice, Avenu Health since 2010. He was responsible for implementing systemwide program and business development activities, with a specific focus on physician alignment, quality oversight and strategic operational leadership for oncology, orthopedics, neurosciences, virtual care, personalized medicine and Avenu Health.
Bailey previously served as the administrator for neurosciences and aging services at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and as the division administrator/operations manager for general surgery, trauma and orthopedics at the Mayo Clinic.
