KeyBank and St. Luke’s team up

A donation of $30,000 from KeyBank to support enhanced programs and services at the St. Luke”™s Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) will be helping  the new Littman Cancer Center program called “No One Goes It Alone.”

Sue Sullivan, SLCH vice president of development and government affairs, accepted the donation on behalf of the hospital. “KeyBank”™s generosity will help provide patients fighting cancer and their loved ones with the assistance and support necessary to help them keep their energy focused on getting well, not the logistics of their care.”

Through SLCH”™s partnership with Jewish Family Services of Orange County, “No One Goes It Alone” provides services to facilitate treatment, reduce stress, and enhance a sense of communal support for cancer patients and their families who lack sufficient resources. Cancer patients have access to services such as transportation to doctor”™s appointments and treatments, grocery shopping, friendly visits, telephone reassurance and assistance with light household chores.

“At KeyBank, we understand that financial well-being is only one part of enjoying a high quality of life,” said Mike Orsino, president, Hudson Valley/Metro NY District, KeyBank. “That is why we are so proud to support SLCH and the ”˜No One Goes It Alone”™ program. The services they provide to cancer patients and their families — and the commitment of their staff and volunteers ”“ make our region a better place in which to live.”
