Dr. Pond Kelemen of the Ashikari Breast Center at Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor developed a breast cancer risk-evaluation app, selected by the American Medical Association as one of the top 10 app ideas in a nationwide AMA competition. More than 500 ideas were submitted to the AMA by physicians, residents and medical students. Two apps will be developed for doctors by the AMA.
