Foy to step down at St. John’s
Jim Foy, who for 17 years has been president and CEO of St. John”™s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, has announced his plans to leave the hospital “no later than June 2011 and hopefully sooner.”
Foy, 58 and a Dobbs Ferry resident, said a “strong internal candidate” is the first choice to fill the spot, though he declined to name the person. “This is good for the hospital; it is not being done in a rush,” he said.
“I let the board know three years ago that by 2011 I planned to move on,” Foy said by phone May 4. “After 17 years, I think it”™s probably good for the institution and for me to move on.”
Foy said his future will include investment and development work, including site work with physicians.
