Caremount Medical CFO to lead population health initiative

Caremount Medical P.C., a physician-owned medical group headquartered in Mount Kisco, has appointed Kevin Conroy as chief population health officer.

Conroy also will continue his role as chief financial officer for the 550-provider group, formerly the Mount Kisco Medical Group.

Caremount officials in the announcement said understanding population health will enable the group to address the needs of the community as a whole in carrying out its primary mission to provide the most advanced possible care to each patient at a location close to home. Conroy in his new role will assure that Caremount has the technological resources and infrastructure need to benefit from the population health perspective.

Conroy joined Caremount in 2014 after 20 years of extensive financial and managerial experience in health care, including serving as president of WellCare of New York Health Plan.
