Westchester Department of Health seeks new office space
The Westchester Department of Health is in the market for a new office space that will consolidate its operations.
The department is currently spread across eight buildings throughout Westchester and is seeking a single site to host its offices. Regional commercial property owners and developers have been invited to submit proposals through May 15, and the department has set three conditions for properties to be considered:
Ӣ All properties must be located within reasonable proximity of the Michaelian Office Building at 148 Martine Ave. in White Plains
Ӣ Proposed properties must accommodate the requirement providing the most efficient utilization of space including but not limited to number of floors, loss factor, etc.
Ӣ Zoning must comply with general office, administrative and any ancillary use including (but not limited to) medical office, research and development and assembly.
“This is about more than cost-saving benefits,” said Westchester County Executive George Latimer. “This consolidation will improve the outcomes for our services and ensure we support our employees with quality spaces that meet today”™s exacting standards. The recently completed Westchester County Real Estate Master plan is a direct result of our continued response to listening and responding to the needs of our employees, our residents, and those who do business in Westchester.”
