Biden in Westchester Wednesday

President Biden comes to Westchester Wednesday May 10 to deliver a speech on the debt ceiling following Tuesday’s meeting with Congressional leaders at the White House. The president’s schedule calls for him to fly to John F. Kennedy International Airport on Air Force One and then transfer to the helicopter Marine One for a flight to Westchester County Airport.

Once at the airport in Westchester he’ll be taken by motorcade to Westchester Community College in Valhalla where he’s scheduled to deliver a speech beginning at about 1:30.

According to the White House, Biden will discuss why Congress must avoid default immediately and without conditions, and how the House Republican Default on America Act will cut veterans”™ health care visits, teachers and school support staffs, and Meals on Wheels for seniors.

Following the speech, President Biden motorcades back to Westchester County Airport where the Marine One helicopter takes him to Manhattan, where he is due to attend fundraising events.

Road closures can be expected in Westchester in the afternoon in order to accommodate the presidential motorcades.
