Beacon city administrator accepts Ardsley post
Beacon City Administrator Meredith Robson will join the village of Ardsley as its village manager on Dec. 14 following her recent selection from more than a dozen candidates by the Ardsley board of trustees.
She will succeed George Calvi, who is retiring after 24 years in the position.
Robson has served as city administrator of Beacon since March 2008. Ardsley officials said she worked for more than 20 years as an executive in government and school districts in Connecticut and New Jersey. She is the immediate past president of the New York State City/County Management Association and a Northeast regional vice president of the International City/County Management Association.
