Garden Catering takes stand against pediatric cancer in honor of daughter

Garden Catering, a chain founded in Greenwich and now known across Fairfield and Westchester Counties for their all-white chicken nuggets, signature seasoning, and popular “potato cones” is running a fundraiser for the Golden Lights Foundation through February 29.

In person visitors to their locations in Fairfield, Norwalk, Stamford, Greenwich, Port Chester, or Mamaroneck can buy a $5 coupon booklet containing $15 worth of deals, with all proceeds benefiting the non-profit Golden Lights Foundation which provides funding for focused research into childhood cancer treatments.

The owners of the chain have a personal connection to the cause.

“Our family is deeply connected to this cause, as my 4-year-old daughter, Willa, was diagnosed with Leukemia last year,” said Tina Carpenteri, Chief Operating Officer for Garden Catering. “We proudly support Golden Lights Foundation for all the amazing work they do to help my daughter and the many other children who are battling this disease. We invite our local communities and others from all around to join us in this fight to make a difference.”

The Carpenteris are also encouraging donations directly to Golden Lights through their fundraiser page at: https://donorbox.org/garden-catering-fundraiser
